The body of missing 21-year-old Nicholas Behringer has been found.
Behringer left a party at 12422 Creek Edge Drive in Riverview on Friday at 11:30 p.m., according to police. He texted a friend in Brandon and was enroute to the friend's house, however, he never arrived.
After attempts from friends and family to contact him failed, his parents Michael and Pamela Behringer reported him missing on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
On Sunday family, friends and deputies searched the area for the missing vehicle.  A Hillsborough County Sheriff's Sergeant found the 2012 Nissan Juke on Balm Boyette Road 1.5 miles north of CR 672.
According to police, the  vehicle had been traveling northbound on Balm Boyette Road and continued off the east shoulder at a left curve in roadway. The vehicle went into a shallow ditch, struck the east bank of the ditch, overturned onto its hood, continued through the woods and struck a tree.
The vehicle was hidden by heavy brush and not easily seen from the roadway.
