A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run at 6th Street South and Interbay Boulevard, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The man was described by an official from TPD as a white male in his 40s. His next of kin has not been notified. There is no description of the vehicle that hit him.
Interbay is shut down in both directions at MacDill to the east and Sheridan Road to the west.
North and South MacDill is open.
Traffic homicide investigators are investigating the incident.
