TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. — Police are looking for help identifying a man that exposed himself.  It happened around 6:50 p.m. on Saturday night.

The female victim was walking on Lagoon Lane when she noticed a white vehicle with a man inside driving slowly behind her. The man in the car went around her, but stopped his vehicle several feet in front of her.

"It is sad that people do that," Carly Strack visiting from Ohio said. "I'm always just with family, never out by myself. Never out too late or by myself."

Strack said this is a good reminder even in a safe beach town that you can't let your guard down.

"I have never witnessed anything around here so it does surprise me," Strack said.

The suspect asked the victim for help, but she ignored him and continued walking.

The juvenile victim told police that the suspect then got out of the car and exposed his genitals to her. She ran away and the suspect drove away from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, 5’7 – 5’9, slightly overweight, dark brown or black beard, short black hair. He appeared un-kept and “dirty”, wearing a white plain t-shirt. The vehicle is described as a white, 2-door sedan with license plate possibly starting with a “G’ or “C.”

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Treasure Island Police at 727-547-4595.
