Police are searching for what they are referring to as an "agile armed robber," who held up a gas station in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg Police say that around 10 p.m. on January 31, a man, with his face covered, robbed a gas station in the 2700 block of 5th Avenue S.

Surveillance video shows the man jump over the counter and point a gun at the store clerk. Police say that he left with a large amount of cash.

"Our detectives thoroughly investigated this incident and have exhausted all leads."

SPPD is asking anyone with information on the incident or the man in the video to contact St. Petersburg Police at 727-893-7780, or text SPPD plus your tip to TIP411. The report number associated with this case is 2018-004677.
