ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested a 33-year-old St. Petersburg man for sexually battering an 11-year-old girl and raping her 18-year-old sister.

The investigation began on Thursday after the pre-teen informed an adult at her school of what happened.

Deputies responded to the school and notified the girl's mother who was unaware of the sexual abuse.

Detectives say Andrae Prince forced the girl to have "inappropriate sexual activity" with him. Deputies say the abuse started earlier this year and the last sex act occurred on September 9.

The Sheriff's Office reports Prince knew the victim and was in a position of custodial care.

During their investigation, detectives learned the victim's 18-year-old sister was also a victim. The teenager claims Prince forced her to have sexual intercourse with him.

Detectives interviewed Prince at the Sheriff's Administration Building in Largo on Thursday afternoon. The Sheriff's Office reports he denied the allegations of inappropriate sexual activity on the 11-year-old girl but admitted to having inappropriate sexual activity with the 18-year-old.

Deputies arrested Prince and charged him with one count of Capital Sexual Battery on the 11 year-old victim and one count of Sexual Battery on the 18 year-old victim. He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
