St. Petersburg Police detectives are offering a $3,000 reward for anyone with information about a man who assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

The victim's mother called St. Petersburg police Saturday, May 27 at approximately 12:48 a.m. to report her daughter ran away. 

At 4:26 a.m. police responded to a call about an injured and dazed young woman walking on 22nd Avenue South near 12th Street. Police determined it was the young woman.

Police noticed she had been beaten and possibly sexually assaulted. 

Due to injuries in her face and jaw the victim was unable to speak with detectives. 

St. Petersburg detectives have been trying to re-trace the young woman's steps and interviewing everyone she came in contact with that night. 

Detectives have tracked down surveillance videos but have not been able to identify a suspect yet.
