A dance academy is struggling after their trailer, containing their dance sets and props was stolen in St. Petersburg.

Police say the white utility trailer was stolen from behind A&G Dance Academy located at 9720 16th Street N. The trailer was owned by a father of one of the dance students who owns Marshall Pest Patrol.

The trailer said "Marshall Pest Patrol" on the side, so it is possible that the thief expected it to be full of lawn and exterminator equipment.

The trailer was stolen sometime between July 7th and July 14th.

The loss of the props and dance sets has been really hard on the dance academy teachers, students and families. Most of the sets that were in the trailer at the time of the theft were built by the fathers and kids at the academy. There was even a 14-foot airplane prop in the trailer.

If you have any information on who stole the trailer or if you have seen the trailer, please call St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780.
