Our pet of the week is a fun boy that might just bark with a Louisiana accent.
Nash is a 1 year old, 44 lb. male Catahoula mix. Shelter workers say he is an energetic boy who will need lots of exercise to keep him active and happy.
Nash knows basic commands and likes to play fetch. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
The Catahoula Cur breed, named for Catahoula Parish, was officially recognized as Louisiana's state dog in 1979.
