More than 30 special needs residents will be moved to another location for the night on Thursday after a fire ripped through a St. Petersburg assisted living facility on Wednesday night.
The Wirick assisted living facility is located at 434 4th Street North in St. Petersburg.
Officials tell ABC Action News that the fire was contained to the third floor unit.
One firefighter was injured in the fire. The extent of his injuries is unknown but he is expected to be okay.
