A fire damaged a St. Petersburg house early Thursday morning. The home is located in a neighborhood still without power due to Hurricane Irma damage.

Firefighters responded at 1:11 a.m. to a call of a fire at 7060 32nd Avenue North.

When crews arrived on scene they found flames coming from the rear of the single-story home. Firefighters say the fire began in a bedroom.

Everyone living at the home safely made it outside. They declined assistance from the Red Cross.

The Fire Marshal is investigating what sparked the fire. There is no word yet if the fire can be blamed on the lack of power.
