The St. Petersburg Police Department is hosting a community meeting on Thursday in an effort to gain feedback from residents on security for the upcoming Pride events and parade in the wake of the mass shooting Sunday in Orlando.
The meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the SPC Allstate Center, 3200 34th St. South in St. Pete in the Desoto Room.
Pride in St. Pete kicks off next weekend.
