About two dozen Tampa Bay area bikers gathered near the Dick Misener Bridge on Saturday afternoon to remember Phoebe Jonchuck.  The little girl was thrown off the bridge in January 2015 by her mentally ill father.

"This is something that is near and dear to our hear," said Jeff Richard.

The group road from Largo to the foot of the bridge.  They also placed flowers in the water she died in.

"There is a lot of feeling involved. You feel an emotional sadness, cause you are throwing a flower in, in the memory of a little girl," said Margo Adams-Reid

The group also raised money for the ride.  The money will go toward a scholarship for a Tampa Bay area student.

"We've got a scholarship we are doing for somebody to go to school and go into the social services field and hopefully make a difference in this so we don't have it happen again," said Richard.
