A small plane made an emergency landing on a golf course in St. Petersburg.
It happened at about 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Lakewood Golf Course at 2000 Country Club Way South in St. Petersburg. The 1939 Taylor Craft fixed-wing airplane had to land on the golf course after it had a mechanical issue.
The plane had two occupants on board. St. Petersburg Fire says that they were both treated and released at the scene uninjured.
The NTSB is responding to the accident.
