Live-in boyfriend arrested for reportedly sexually assaulting Pinellas Park teen over past 5 years

A Pinellas Park man has been arrested for reportedly sexually assaulting and impregnating his girlfriend's teenage daughter. 

Pinellas Park Police Department has arrested Mark Philip Sutton, 41, of Pinellas Park for multiple counts of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation on a thirteen-year-old female. 

Sutton, lived with his girlfriend and her 13-year-old daughter. 

According to police, the teen went to the hospital with her mother for unrelated medical problems. While she was at the hospital, she discovered she was four-months pregnant. At that time, the daughter told her mother and investigators that she had been sexually molested and battered by Sutton since she was 8-years-old. She said that she had never been sexually active with anyone other than the live-in boyfriend. 

The victim told police that he forced her to have sexual intercourse with him, within the family home. She also said that on multiple occasions, Sutton inappropriately touched her and forced her to touch him. 

Sutton was taken into custody on Monday night and he was charged with five counts of L&L Molestation, two counts of sexual battery on a victim 12 years of age or older, and one count of Capital Sexual Battery. 

Pinellas Park Police continue to investigate and say more charges are possible.
