A toddler struck while riding in a stroller at a Gibsonton mobile home park has died, according to Tampa General Hospital.

A pick-up truck driver accidently drove over Zachary Ustaszewski, 2, on Sunday in Sandy's Mobil Home Park, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say at 4:20 p.m., 28-year-old Brandon Concepcion and the boy's grandfather, Randy Lear, were backing out of the driveway and did not see the 2-year-old in a stroller behind the truck.

Authorities said Brandon started to pull forward, unaware he had run over the boy.

A neighbor who witnessed the crash, ran up to the truck and began banging on the truck's window, pleading for Brandon to stop the truck.

Neighbors fetched the boy from the road and moved him to a grassy area in front of the house.

Paramedics reported Zachary suffered severe head trauma. He was flown to Tampa General.

The child's family says he was an organ donor, according to the hospital.
