Two children were flown to a local hospital in Sarasota after a bicycle accident.
According to Sarasota PD, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old were in a wagon type device being pulled by their father and a bicycle. The bicycle hit the curb and the children were ejected.
Neither child was wearing a helmet or securely buckled in, police say.
2 children, ages unknown, both toddlers, each being transported by separate medical helicopters, for unknown injuries.

They were taken to the hospital by separate medical helicopters with unknown injuries.
Traffic Unit Officers were on scene reconstructing where the bicycle crash occurred at 17th St and US 301. The scene has cleared since then.
