SARASOTA, Fla. — Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting that left two officers and two suspects injured.
Police say the shooting occurred at Janie's Garden Apartment at 2350 Central Avenue in Sarasota.
Two officers fired their guns at two adult men. The suspects drove themselves to a local hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police have not identified the type of injuries the officers suffered. The injuries do appear to be life-threatening. The officers are being treated at a local hospital.
There is no information at this time what led up to the shooting.
