The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office's Hazardous Devices Unit and Sarasota HAZMAT responded to reports of a suspicious device found at a clubhouse in the Strathmore Riverside Villas apartment complex in Sarasota.
Deputies say a maintenance supervisor found something outside of the front door on Tuesday morning around 7:45 a.m.
The clubhouse is located in the 2700 block of Riverbluff Parkway.
As of 9:52 a.m. the scene was cleared and deputies say it is non-hazardous. The "suspicious device" ended up being several plastic and glass bottles, screws and debris.
