Filmmaker Sandi Hulon is highlighting the life and death of Eddie Sotomayor. Sotomayor was the first name released by officials during the Pulse nightclub tragedy. The film titled "One of 49" focuses on Sotomayor's goal of spreading love and acceptance.
"Out of all the interviews and footage we have everyone talked about how much they loved Eddie and how much he loved life and how much he gave to life," said Hulon.
The crew has spent the past several months interviewing Sotomayor's friends and family. The project is expected to be finished late this summer.
