Brian Hannon left the military years ago, but he never forgot his brothers and sisters still serving. He went on to managing Signal 88 Security in Sarasota. He makes it his mission to hire former vets, especially those suffering from PTSD.

"These veterans are willing and ready to get back to work," said Hannon.

Steven Stouffer recently started as a security officer with Signal 88. He served in the Marines and then became an F.B.I. agent.

"Things were going really I really enjoyed what I was doing," said Stouffer.

He eventually lost his federal job while trying to cope with his PTSD and the loss of his father.

"I lost my way like a lot of vets do and you try to control that in other areas and a lot of vets spiral out of control," said Stouffer.

Signal 88 Security in Sarasota has hired eight veterans and they plan to hire more.

"With the right guidance and coping skills they can be just like anybody," said Hannon.
