Two men walking along a ditch in the 1700 block of East Avenue found a man's body on Wednesday night, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
The men called 911 at approximately 7 p.m. reporting the body, according to police.
At this time, police do not know how long the man has been deceased.
Police are investigating and a medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
