TOWN OF LONGBOAT KEY, Fla. — Town of Longboat Key police are investigating a death investigation that happened on Tuesday.
Police said at approximately 10:30 a.m., a body was found in the water along the beach shoreline of the 100 block of Sands Point Road.
The body was identified as 59-year-old Octavio Utrera.
There were no signs of trauma or foul play at this time, but the cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office.
Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to call police.
