UPDATE:
Alford Matthews has been found safe. A store clerk located Alford just around midnight at I-75 & Bee Ridge Road and called authorities. The teen was returned home. Sarasota Police wants to thank everyone who helped share his photo.

Officers with the Sarasota Police Department are currently searching for a missing, endangered teenager.
Alford Mathews, 17, was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday in the 1500 block of North Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota.
Alford suffers from a medical condition. He was last seen wearing a gray top with red strips, jeans, and black Nike sneakers.
