Deputies have arrested two men in the abductions and deaths of two people in Bradenton.

Dwayne E. Cummings, 38, faces two counts of armed kidnapping, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say murder charges are pending in his case.

Fredrick Douglas, 43, the other suspect, was arrested for an unrelated domestic battery charge. Charges related to the murder may be added.

Deputies began investigating after they found Karl Tuxford shot to death in his car Tuesday at 1100 block of Eighth Avenue East in Bradenton. Jordan Finlon was found dead the same afternoon on the side of Bishop Harbor Road.

The deaths appear to be drug-related.
