CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. — He was infamous on the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. But this weekend, Florida native Jordan Kimball is running for a good reason and he hopes you will too.

This Saturday morning, Kimball will be home in Crystal River. Kimball and his family are hosting a 5K fun run for Ana’s foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to helping families coping with miscarriages and stillborn births.

Jordan’s brother Austin lost his son Omarion in 2015 when Omarion was stillborn.

“Stillborn awareness, late-term miscarriages, it is a very dark topic. Nobody wants to talk about it,” dad Jon Kimball said. “You don’t go in there expecting to say hello to a new life and end up saying goodbye to someone you never got to meet.”

Burdened with this experience, the family hopes the run will help other families financially and emotionally.

Preregistration is closed but you can register on the day of the walk for $35, cash or check only.

The Kimballs say you can also donate to Ana’s Foundation and Jordan will also send you a manatee fun run shirt.

The run starts at 9 a.m., registration begins at 8. The race will take place at The Port Hotel and Marina located at 1610 Southeast Paradise Circle in Crystal River.
