I-75 reopened in Sarasota after 'significant' crash: Sheriff

SARASOTA, Fla. — All I-75 southbound lanes, and two northbound lanes, in Sarasota were shut down due to a "significant" crash, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office said the crash was e marker 210, Fruitville Road. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the crash involved four vehicles, including a cement mixer truck.

There were two trauma alerts, and there was a large amount of concrete mix spilled in the southbound lanes.
