BRADENTON, Fla. — Deputies arrested a man suspected of shooting two teens, killing one of them, in Bradenton.
Over the weekend, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in the 5900th block of 13th Court East. The shooting left a 16-year-old boy dead at the scene and a 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
On Thursday, deputies arrested 28-year-old Troy Davis Sr. in connection with the shooting.
Davis is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Officials have not identified the 16-year-old who was shot and killed.
