Unhappy with a tire shop, a man showed up with a bottle of gas, a lighter, and some demands, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Andre Haisley, 61, showed up to Central Discount Tires on Tuesday morning with a water bottle full of gasoline with a rag sticking out of the top.

When deputies showed up, he told them he brought the gas " to light the bitch on fire."

MCSO was originally contacted by Rubie Haisley when she saw her husband leave their home angrily with the bottle of gas. She was concerned that he was going to hurt someone over a failed business transaction.

Deputies responded to the store at 1414 30th Avenue E, and found the victim, Sam Kader, hiding behind a vehicle opposite of the offender, Andre Haisley. Sam pointed at Andre and said, "he tried to kill me!"

Andre was standing in the entrance to the business holding the bottle.

According to the victim, Andre came to the business, and blocked the only entrance to the work area. He was holding the bottle in his left hand, and titled it sideways to make the it drip yellow liquid down the rag. In his right hand was a lighter.

He was shouting that he wanted his money back and demanded it now.

He told Sam that he was going to burn the place down with Sam in it. Sam told deputies that he feared for his life, but stalled Andre by saying he was getting the money ready.

A deputy asked Andre what was in his hand and he said, "gasoline, so I can burn this place down." He immediately complied to dropping the bottle and placing his hands behind his back.

A search yielded a lighter in his left jacket pocket.

Post Miranda, Andre stated that he Andre did not believe Sam would give him his money back and wanted to let him know not to mess with someone's money.

Andre was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a fire bomb.
