Detectives said missing 11-year-old, Nathaniel Garza, from Bradenton returned to his grandmother's home Wednesday evening, but then a few hours later he ran away again.

He was first reported missing on Tuesday after leaving a bus stop. Nathaniel's grandmother reported him missing.

"I turn my back and then he leaves," said Dora Garza.

Dora Garza is a single grandmother raising four grandkids on her own. She said it's a tough responsibility, but she's happy to do it.

"Trying to save him from the bad, trying to teach him the right way get an education," said Garza.

Deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said they are seeing an increase in grandparents raising their grandchildren.

"You are seeing more and more of that with millennials having kids and for whatever reason they can't take care of their kids and the grandparents end up with the kids," said spokesperson Dave Bristow.

Deputies don't believe nathaniel is in danger, but they would like to get him back to his grandmother as soon as possible.
