SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla, — Three people were sent to the hospital after two boats crashed near Stickney Point Bridge on Sunday afternoon, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
FWC officials say one of those injured is in serious condition, but the extent of the other two injured is unknown.
In total, nine people were involved in the collision.
