Authorities in Manatee County are asking the public to contact them with any information regarding the arrest of a man for lewd or lascivious acts earlier this week.
On Sunday, Omar Freitas-Velez, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious acts and two counts of traveling to meet a minor and engage in sexual acts, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The victim is 14, authorities say.
