Winter Haven Police have made an arrest in the shooting that landed a man in the hospital with serious injuries.
Noakeem Jahad Williams was taken into custody and charged with second degree attempted murder.
The victim, Antonio Deon Thomas was able to identify the shooter after being interviewed by police.
ORIGINAL STORY | A Winter Haven man was transported to Lakeland Regional Health with serious injuries after he was shot as he opened the front door of his home on Monday morning.
The incident occurred on Avenue T NE in Winter Haven at 7:10 a.m.
Police say the shooter ran from the scene.
The shooting is under investigation.
