WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — The Winter Haven Police Department has evacuated students from Language & Literacy Academy For Learning due to a "smokey haze" inside one of their buildings.

The Winter Haven Fire Department is trying to determine the source of the smokey haze.
All students and staff have been safety evacuated and are currently at Grace Lutheran. Parents have been notified of the evacuation, according to police.
Language & Literacy Academy for Learning is a free public charter school serving Pre K – 12th grade.
