The Winter Haven Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed robber who terrorized a bank teller on Tuesday.

According to officials, the armed suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 1350 6th St NW in Winter Haven at approximately 4:50 p.m.

He approached the teller and told her, "Give me all the money...and don't push the alarm or I'll shoot you."

Fearing for her life, the teller complied with his demands placing money inside of a plastic bag he supplied. The suspect then ordered the teller, at gunpoint, to turn around and face the wall.

Surveillance video then shows the suspect entering a white four-door vehicle headed northbound towards Ave M NW.

Nobody was physically injured during the robbery.

Officials believe the suspect is the same man seen in surveillance video drinking a cup of coffee inside the bank at approximately 4:40 p.m.

The outfit the man was wearing in the images are identical to what the robber was wearing a short time later. Officials said the only difference was the fake beard he was wearing when he returned to commit the robbery.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
