Winter Haven Police are currently investigating a shooting in Winter Haven.
A victim was shot by someone they know in the 2000 block of 9th St NW, according to police.
The victim suffered minor injuries and had to been transported to a local hospital.
The suspect fled the scene, but officials do not believe the general public is in any immediate danger.
