A suspect exchanged gunfire with Polk County deputies Wednesday and has barricaded himself inside a home on Sunset Circle in Lake Alfred.
No deputies were injured, and SWAT is on scene in what is an active situation.
The suspect is the only person inside, and is armed.
Sheriff Grady Judd will update the incident this evening.
