Silver Alert canceled after 84-year-old Lakeland man with dementia found safe

His wife woke up around 1:30AM and he wasn't home

ORIGINAL STORY | The Polk County Sheriff's Office has issued a SILVER ALERT for an 84-year-old Lakeland man with dementia. 

Claud Howard Letanosky was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home located on Arrowwood Drive in Lakeland. His wife woke up around 1:30 a.m. Thursday and she couldn't find him and their minivan was gone. 

Letanosky is described as 5'8" tall, 155 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair. The vehicle he could be driving is a blue 2007 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with FL tag 717QWE. He was last seen wearing a dark green polo shirt, blue jeans, and grey and black sneakers. He occasionally wears glasses, according to deputies. 

Letanosky has been diagnosed with dementia.
