LAKELAND, Fla. — A pedestrian died after being hit by two vehicles in Polk County Wednesday morning.
The adult pedestrian was reportedly hit by both vehicles on US Hwy. 98 at Ritter Rd. in north Lakeland.
Both vehicles remained at the scene.
US Hwy. 98 was shut down in both directions. It reopened around 10:30 a.m.
