An unknown robber ordered a victim to take his pants off at a Lake Wales gas station.

Lake Wales police are investigating an overnight robbery that took place at 2:45 a.m. at the CITGO gas station on North Scenic Highway.

The male victim was pressure washing the area surrounding the fueling islands, according to a media release. The suspect approached him, demanded money and that's when he ordered the victim to take his pants off.

Another suspect was seen in the area. Both suspects fled on foot to the east with an undisclosed amount of money and other personal items. It's unclear whether the victim's pants were stolen too.

One of the suspects fired a gun toward the victim, but there are no injuries.

If you have any information on the robbery call Lake Wales Police Detective Stephanie Goreck (863) 678-4223 ext. 269 or Heartland Crime Stoppers at (800) 226-8477.
