Haunted jail tour at Polk sheriff's office

Want to give back and celebrate Halloween?

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is hosting their annual Haunt Jail Tour to benefit the United Way of Central Florida.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 29 at the old PCSO jail at 455 N. Broadway Avenue in Bartow. PCSO volunteers will present the Zombia Apocalypse.

Saturday, Oct. 29 will be family night, with treats and games for kids. 

The tour will be $5, with proceeds going to United Way.

Visitors will be taken through areas that include the morgue, an infirmary, an incinerator and the jail.
