Some Winter Haven residents were asked to stay inside their homes due to a gas leak in the area of 1810 Crossroads Blvd Tuesday morning.
After Central Florida Gas arrived, the gas leak was stopped and residents in the area of Crossroads Blvd. just off Crump Rd near Country Club Rd were able to leave their homes.
Roadways in the area were also shut down out of an abundance of caution, which were reopened shortly after 12 p.m.
