The Auburndale Police Department is searching for a man who left his mother's residence on Wednesday, July 27 around 10 p.m. and has not been seen since.
David Lavaris Jones, was last seen in cut off thigh-length gray sweat pants, a blue shirt and brown hiking boots at his home on Preston Street in Auburndale. Police say he left messages for family members telling them he loved them and he implied that he may hurt himself.
He does not have his cell phone with him and his family has no way of contacting him.
