UPDATE:
The repair to the reclaimed water pipe and Old Coachman Road is complete and the roadway is reopened for normal use.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Crews are working to make repairs to Old Coachman Road in Clearwater after a portion of the road collapsed.
It happened in the 1700 block between N.E. Coachman and Sunset Point Road on Thursday afternoon.
Clearwater Traffic and Public Utilities crews told Action News a reclaimed water casing caused the road to give way.
Traffic is being detoured in the area.
Repairs are expected to take several hours.
