St. Pete police are working to track down the gunman who shot and killed a man outside of a local pool hall.
Investigators are looking to speak to people who were inside Crabb Paradise Rental Pool Hall. Police are trying to get as much information as possible.
Officers told ABC Action News the shooting happened right outside of the business.
St. Pete police along with Pinellas county investigators spent hours outside the pool hall Wednesday morning gathering evidence and trying to piece together what happened.
Investigators report the shooting stemmed from some sort of argument in the parking lot. The 42-year-old victim identified as Lamant Lisbon was found outside. He died while he was being transported to the hospital.
Officials shut down 18th Ave S near 31st St. S for hours as they worked to get more information on the case.
Police told ABC Action News tips from the public will be key to solving the case. Police are urging witnesses to call them at 727-893-7780, or text the tip to TIP411
"It was open there were people here. So we really believe that someone saw this and we're hoping a witness comes forward and talks to us and clarifies exactly what happened and hopefully identify a suspect," said public information officer Yolanda Fernandez.
