SPCA Tampa Bay waiving adoption fees for cats and pocket pets this week

LARGO, Fla. — SPCA Tampa Bay is waiving the adoption fees for cats and pocket pets this week.

During "Purranormal Cativity" SPCA Tampa Bay will waive adoption fees Wednesday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for orange and black adult cats and all pocket pets.

More than 120 cats and pocket pets (rabbits, birds and more) that are furry, bouncy, feathered or slithering are awaiting a loving home.

The shelter is located at 9099 130th Ave. N. in Largo.

Animals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and potential adopters are encouraged to come early to the shelter. A cat carrier or housing that’s appropriate for travel is required for adoption.
