The St. Petersburg Police Department needs help to identify a woman caught on surveillance video attaching a skimmer to an ATM inside a 7-11 convenience store.
The clerk at the 7-11 located at 6161 4th Street North noticed the woman behaving suspiciously as she stood at the ATM shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27.
Approximately two hours later, the clerk checked the ATM machine and discovered she had attached a plastic piece with a skimmer over the card reader. The plastic piece was painted green to match 7-11's colors.
Police don't believe many, if any, customers used the machine while the skimmer was in place. However would like to identify the woman.
