ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 26-year-old man Saturday morning.
St. Pete police said shortly before 6 a.m., 26-year-old Ocossio Nettles broke into his girlfriend's apartment at 5877 Fairfield Avenue South.

A family friend, 48-year-old Roderick Donson, confronted him.
Shots were fired and Nettles died at the scene. Donson suffered not life-threatening injury.
Two women and a child who were inside the apartment were not injured.
