Police looking for man who stole about $2,000 worth of merchandise from Stein Mart

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft at a Stein Mart in Seminole.

 

 

 

The incident happened on March 15 around 7:30 p.m. at the Stein Mart at 7967 113th Street N. 

According to detectives, a man walked in the store and placed several things in his shopping cart, before going to the front of the store. He is then seen on surveillance walking past the cashier counter while carrying the merchandise and setting off security sensors as he left.

He stole about $2,000 worth of merchandise, including Michael Kors purses, perfumes and clothing items.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 30s, weighing 140-160 lbs. He has a large tattoo on his left calf, and was wearing a white Callaway golf hat, bright orange Nike shirt, blue tennis shoes and dark shorts.
