Pinellas County deputies investigating deadly shooting at gentlemen's club

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting outside the Emporium Lounge in St. Petersburg.

Deputies responded to the club located at Gandy Boulevard shortly after 4 a.m. in response to a report of a shooting.

Investigators say there was a large altercation inside the lounge and continued outside into the parking lot.

As Gai Marwil, 32, was leaving in his car after the altercation, he shot Jametric Facyson.

When deputies arrived, they found Facyson dead in the parking lot from a gunshot wound.

A short time later Marwil was involved in a car crash on I-275 and 54th Avenue North. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Marwil has been charged with First Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm and remains in the hospital.
