Pinellas Park Police Department is searching for a person who abandoned a bull dog mix in very poor condition.

The male dog, believed to be between 5 and 10 years old, was found Monday at a business at 3975 118th Ave. in Pinellas Park, according to police. It had irritated skin, an eye closed and crusted with discharge and chain and collar marks all around its neck.

Midway Animal Hospital examined the dog and found that it was starving and appeared to have spent long periods of time on a chain on concrete.

Adam Clark, an employee of the business where he was found, has paid several hundred dollars for his care. He has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for its treatment.
